The currency of the Czech Republic is the Koruna, with one Koruna equalling 100 Haler. Notes come in denominations of Kc5000, 2000, 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50 and 20, with coins coming in denominations of Kc50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1, and 50, 20 and 10 Haler.Bureau de changes are available across the country, and money can be exchanged in banks, at road border crossing points and by authorised dealers. Traveller’s cheques are widely accepted, though to avoid additional conversion charges these should be in either US Dollars, Pounds Sterling or Euros.
